I greatly enjoyed all three subjects of the programme equally and following are some of the assignments that I have immensely valued.

Strategic Business Plan – Business Professionalism

In this assignment we had to assume the role of a consultant and come up with a business strategy for a company in New Zealand. Since this was a familiar area for me, I approached the study with high enthusiasm and positive outlook. Further, our lecturer also provided us with much valuable insights and respective areas that we should critically evaluate and the structure of the assignment. I selected My Food Bag as the relevant company and carried out a detail analysis of their operation, financials and came up with new strategies and financials for the nest five years for the company to grow further. It was a great study work which I really enjoyed and much liked.

Case study portfolio James Dyson and Mark Sanders – Design Thinking & Innovation

In this assignment we had to critically evaluate the two inventors and analyze their characteristics and the issues that they had to face when inventing new products and launching it to the market. It was very fascinating to understand the sheer determination and courage mixed with the innovative ability of these two inventors and how they found inspiration to move forward until they were successful in their endeavors.

Security Analysis Report in the Finance Industry New Zealand – Information Security Management

Since I have been from the Banking and Finance Industry, it was really interesting to explore this area and to have a greater understanding on various cyber security threats faced by the New Zealand finance sector and the respective remedial and proactive measures that they could take to mitigate such risks. It was further noted the depth of the matter and the unwarranted expenses these institutions may have to incur if they neglect the close monitoring and having well established cyber security framework in their organizations.
